Affectiveness and teaching: brands of two unforgettable professors of the Mathematics area

Resumo: This paper analyzes narratives about two professors identified as unforgettable – professionals who positively mark their students’ lives. To do so, an interview was conducted with a professor at a public university. Furthermore, a virtual poll was held at the university where this professor works, and he was named by one of the respondents as his unforgettable professor. With this, it was possible to align the statements of the respondents, identifying the marks left by professors which were transferred to teaching practice. The decisions and pedagogical practices of the unforgettable professor classified in nuclei and subnuclei were identified in the narratives. Recognizing the professor's mediation and realizing the affection contained therein, which were expressed in the interviews, give us examples of how this mediation and the decisions in teaching planning affect and mark the students.

Para esto, se realizó una entrevista con un profesor en una universidad pública y una encuesta virtual sobre recordar al profesor inolvidable en la universidad donde trabaja este profesor, y uno de los encuestados lo nombró como su profesor inolvidable. Con esto, fue posible alinear las declaraciones de los encuestados, identificando las marcas dejadas por los profesores y que fueron transferidas a la práctica docente. Las decisiones y las prácticas pedagógicas del profesor inolvidable, clasificadas en núcleos y subnúcleos, se identificaron en las narraciones. Reconocer la mediación del profesor y darse cuenta del afecto contenido en él, que se expresó en las entrevistas, nos da ejemplos de cómo esta mediación y las decisiones en la planificación de la enseñanza afectan y marcan a los estudiantes.Este trabalho analisa narrativas sobre dois professores identificados como inesquecíveis – profissionais que marcam positivamente a vida de seus alunos. Para isso, foi realizada uma entrevista com um professor em uma universidade pública, bem como uma enquete virtual na mesma universidade, onde esse professor atua; e ele foi apontado por um dos respondentes como seu professor inesquecível. Com isso, foi possível alinhar as declarações dos entrevistados, identificando as marcas deixadas pelos professores que foram transferidas para a prática docente. As decisões e as práticas pedagógicas do professor inesquecível, classificadas em núcleos e subnúcleos, foram identificadas nas narrativas.
