Innovation in Federal University of Minas Gerais’ Nursing course: reports of the implementation of a distance discipline

Resumo: The search for knowledge in the production of didactic materials for distance education and skills in the use of virtual learning environments motivated the entrance in the Laboratory of Creation of Didactic Material for Distance Learning, of the Center for Distance Education Teaching Support of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. This article aims to present some reflections about the challenges posed to the higher education teacher in the preparation of materials proposals in the distance modality. Specifically, we will analyze a proposal for a distance discipline “Ethics and Bioethics in Nursing”, elaborated for the Nursing course, which had a process of theoretical and methodological reconfiguration to be offered in the distance modality. As distance learning requires a language adaptation and planned insertion of complementary activities and resources, a new form of writing, communication and exchange of knowledge with the students was experimented.

Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar algumas reflexões a respeito dos desafios postos ao docente do ensino superior na elaboração de propostas de materiais na modalidade a distância. Em específico, analisa uma proposta de disciplina a distância Ética e Bioética na Enfermagem, elaborada para o curso de Enfermagem, que contou com um processo de reconfiguração teórica e metodológica para ser ofertada nessa modalidade.
