Resumo: This article is an excerpt from the conclusion work of the Professional Master's Course in Biology-PROFBIO-UFMT, produced amid the Covid-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2, and executed remotely. To persuade the educational challenges, the high rate of Dengue in the country still stands high during this period. Thus, this study sought, through Remote Teaching, to employ new strategies in the Biology Teaching and Learning process, based on the Investigative Teaching Sequence (SEI) associated with active learning methods on the subject of Dengue and its vector, aiming to the production of pedagogical material that traced paths to Scientific Literacy, also making use of digital tools. We apply questionnaires and interviews with Biology teachers. Data analysis and the presentation of results are based on Bardin's content analysis. We produce pedagogical educational material: an SEI, on Dengue and its vector, and the website Denguelogia 4.0. Both were validated by the participants as an innovative proposal suitable for Scientific Literacy and a virtual didactic guide for interested teachers.
