Resumo: This article presents the results of a bibliographic research that aimed to investigate dissertations and theses related to the GeoGebra software for the practice of Mathematics teachers working in Elementary School, defended in stricto sensu graduate programs in Brazil, from 2009 to 2021 Thus, the guiding question of this investigation was: “What do the dissertations and theses involving the GeoGebra software for the practice of Mathematics teachers in Elementary School developed in Brazil in the period from 2009 to 2021 indicate?”. We used qualitative research, in the form of State of Knowledge. The corpus consisted of 124 researches involving the GeoGebra in a context related to the teaching and learning processes of Mathematics. To analyze the data, we used Content Analysis from the perspective of Bardin (1977) and Rodrigues (2019), which provided us with the constitution of five categories. In the interpretative analysis carried out, we identified 80 surveys directed to the GeoGebra and the Geometry Thematic Unit, which represents 64.5% of the 124 surveys. We recommend carrying out more research to contemplate the potential and possibilities of using GeoGebra for teaching Mathematics in the early years of Elementary School, as well as for teaching Mathematics content in the Thematic Units Numbers and Probability and Statistics in Elementary School.
