Resumo: This article addresses the topic of using RPG as a tool in teaching text genres at school. The interactional productivity of this game is emphasized as a potential instrument that allows textual production in a diversity of genres, as well as the importance of orality, present in that game, for the practices of written production, considering the singularities and creative positioning of the subjects students. The collection and analysis of the information and theories obtained in this work were based on the bibliography of professionals in the field of education who addressed RPG in the classroom.
