Resumo: | In this work we reflect on the experiences of Paulo Freire, socialized in the books “Letters to Cristina: reflections on my life and my praxis” and “Fear and daring: the teacher's daily life”, which show the constituent bases of the enchantment of Freire's pedagogy. Paulo Freire's history with education is worthy of reflection, as his praxis led him to idealize a popular education that aimed to raise awareness among people, especially the oppressed and excluded social classes, with a view to social, cultural and political emancipation, the which in itself is an indication of his belief in the liberating power of education. From the reading of these works, we will use as a methodology to analyze their experiences, the five-dimensionality of González (2008) with a focus on the five dimensions (methodological, epistemological, ontological, axiological and teleological) proposed by him. In addition to Freire (2008, 2019 and 2021), scholars of the patron of Brazilian education such as Haddad (2019) and Gadotti (2011), add to this reflection. This study showed us that Freire's life and experiences reinforce the constituent bases of his ideation and, based on them, through a critical treatment, he gave his pedagogy political and epistemological recognition, evidencing the enchantment of his pedagogy. |

La historia de Paulo Freire con la educación es digna de reflexión, ya que su praxis lo llevó a idealizar una educación popular que tenía como objetivo sensibilizar a las personas, especialmente a las clases sociales oprimidas y excluidas, con miras a la emancipación social, cultural y política, lo que en en sí mismo es una indicación de su creencia en el poder liberador de la educación. A partir de la lectura de estos trabajos, utilizaremos como metodología para analizar sus vivencias, la cinco dimensionalidad de González (2008) con un enfoque en las cinco dimensiones (metodológica, epistemológica, ontológica, axiológica y teleológica) propuestas por él. Además de Freire (2008, 2019 y 2021), académicos del mecenas de la educación brasileña como Haddad (2019) y Gadotti (2011), se suman a esta reflexión. Este estudio nos mostró que la vida y vivencias de Freire refuerzan las bases constituyentes de su ideación y, a partir de ellas, a través de un tratamiento crítico, le dio a su pedagogía un reconocimiento político y epistemológico, evidenciando el encanto de su pedagogía.Neste trabalho refletimos sobre as experiências de Paulo Freire, socializadas nos livros “Cartas a Cristina: reflexões sobre a minha vida e minha práxis” e “Medo e ousadia: o cotidiano do professor”, que evidenciam as bases constituintes do encantamento da pedagogia freireana. A história de Paulo Freire com a educação é digna de ser refletida, pois a sua práxis o levou a idealizar uma educação popular que objetivava conscientizar as pessoas, especialmente as classes sociais oprimidas e excluídas, com vistas a emancipação social, cultural e política, o que por si só já é um indício da sua crença no poder libertador da educação. A partir da leitura destas obras, usaremos como metodologia para analisar as suas experiências, a pentadimensionalidade de González (2008) com foco nas cinco dimensões (metodológica, epistemológica, ontológica, axiológica e teleológica) propostas por ele. Além de Freire (2008, 2019 e 2021), estudiosos do patrono da educação brasileira como Haddad (2019) e Gadotti (2011), somam a esta reflexão.
