Resumo: This review aims to present the work "Aspects of reading in the digital age: how new technologies can affect our ability to understand text", authored by Joana Souza and published by the publisher Appris in 2020. Over four chapters she discusses with primacy the possible implications of reading in printed and digital media by natives and digital immigrants, verifying their ability to concentrate and pay attention, but not only that, it brings light to those who are interested in the issue of teaching reading and communication technologies and information about the challenges of educating children and adolescents in the digital age.

A lo largo de cuatro capítulos, analiza con primacía las posibles implicaciones de la lectura en medios impresos y digitales por parte de nativos e inmigrantes digitales, verificando su capacidad de concentración y atención, pero no solo eso, ilumina a quienes están interesados ​​en el tema de la enseñanza de las tecnologías de la lectura y la comunicación e información sobre los desafíos de la educación de niños, niñas y adolescentes en la era digital.A presente resenha objetiva apresentar a obra “Aspectos da leitura na era digital: como as novas tecnologias podem afetar nossa capacidade de compreender texto" cuja autoria é de Joana Souza e a publicação da editora Appris no ano de 2020.
