Educação a distância e formação de professores: impactos na escola de educação básica

The research analyzes the relationship teacher training and improving education in the school of Basic Education, part of understanding that training at higher level in Distance Education teachers need to be analyzed in relation to possible impacts on Basic Education School. Therefore, the initial research question is: is there a relation between the higher education of teachers and improving the quality of Basic Education in Rural Schools in the municipality of Conde? Thus, the general objective is to analyze the impacts of teacher training, improving the quality of basic education in rural schools in the municipality of Conde, state of Paraíba. The theoretical framework relies on researchers engaged in studies on higher education, distance education and teacher training, among which Barreyro (2008); Wedge (1989); Romanelli (1986); Bittar (2008); Jezine and Bittar (2013); Belloni (200); Gasparin and Oliveira (2012); Arroyo (2004); Fernandes (2004); Tardif (2012); Freire (1979, 1980, 1991); Therrien and Loyola (2001) and Bauer (2010). The work is characterized by a qualitative and quantitative approach, based on data from the Census of Education and INEP Index of Basic Education Development (IDEB), the municipal schools. Research subjects are teachers who are in the teaching profession in the rural schools of the county, who have completed graduation from UAB in the period 2007-2012, the coordination of the Polo and the secretary of education in the municipality. The survey results indicate that the training of teachers of basic education at the college level, under the modality of distance education contributes to the formation, qualification and monitoring of technological innovations for learning, and consequent qualification of teacher's pedagogic practice. The evolution data in IDEB schools of the county show improvement in the classification of position, but the research can not determine and assign a definite and direct relationship between the training of teachers to improve this index
