A dimensão espacial que torna possível a existência das sociedades humanas tanto quanto as dimensões biológica e cultural - tem sempre o sentido de uma herança, isto é, de algo que uma geração recebeu da anterior e transmitiu, modificado à geração seguinte, não devendo, assim, ser tratada pelo sociólogo como se fora uma realidade imutável e acabada.The spatial dimension that makes possible the existence of human societies as much as the biological and cultural dimensions - always has the sense of an inheritance, that is, of something that one generation received from the previous and transmitted, modified to the next generation, and should not, be treated by the sociologist as if it were an immutable and finished reality.
