SILVA, Carlos Pereira dahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4064827444389784http://lattes.cnpq.br/3117559199438663GAVAZZA, SáviaFORESTI, Eugênio2018-12-05T22:24:53Z2018-12-05T22:24:53Z2016-12-12https://repositorio.ufpe.br/handle/123456789/28038Nome completo da orientadora: Sávia Gavazza dos Santos PessôaEste trabalho foi realizado em duas etapas: − na primeira realizou-se um ensaio de toxicidade anaeróbia, com corantes aromáticos azo (tetra-azo Direct Black 22 – DB22 e di-azo Direct Orange 4 – DO4) e antraquinônico (Reactive Blue 19 – RB19), tendo como objetivo verificar a influência dos diferentes grupos químicos destes corantes e seus subprodutos de degradação na inibição da atividade metanogênica; − na segunda foram investigados os efeitos dos íons sulfato e sulfeto na descoloração redutiva do corante azo Direct Black 22, utilizando reatores sequenciais em batelada. Os resultados da primeira etapa indicaram que ambos os grupamentos químicos azo e antraquinônico podem ser inibidores para metanogênese. Cada corante tem um potencial tóxico que dependerá da sua natureza, concentrações utilizadas e subprodutos gerados. Foi encontrado valor de CI50 de 2,00 mmol∙L⁻¹ para o corante DB22. Para o DO4 e o RB19, os valores foram 5,25 mmol∙L⁻¹, e 1,21 mmol∙L⁻¹, respectivamente, indicando maior tolerância ao corante azo do que ao corante antraquinônico. Em geral, maiores percentuais de remoção de corante foram obtidos para menores concentrações de corante. Para o segundo experimento, os resultados mostraram que, além de “competir” pelos elétrons, os íons sulfato e/ou sulfeto podem alterar os mecanismos de redução de corantes azo. Íons sulfeto, adicionados ou biogênicos, podem reduzir as ligações azo quimicamente ou bioquimicamente, porém alteram a cinética e diminuem a eficiência da remoção de cor. Na presença destes íons há alteração na natureza dos subprodutos de degradação, indicando uma possível formação de subprodutos parcialmente degradados.This work was carried out in two stages: - in the first was an anaerobic toxicity test with azo aromatic dyes (mono-azo Direct Black 22 - DB22 and di-azo Direct Orange 4 - DO4) and an anthraquinone dye (Reactive Blue 19 - RB19), aiming to verify the influence of the different chemical groups of these dyes and their degradation byproducts on the inhibition of methanogenic activity; - in the second, the effects of sulfate and sulfide ions on the reductive discoloration of azo dye Direct Black 22 were investigated using sequential batch reactors. The results of the first step indicated that both azo and anthraquinone chemical groups may be inhibitors for methanogenesis. Each dye has a toxic potential that will depend on its nature, used concentrations and by-products generated. IC50 values of 2 mmol∙L⁻¹ was found for dye DB22. For DO4 and for RB19, the values were 5.25 mmol∙L⁻¹ and 1.21 mmol∙L⁻¹, respectively, indicating greater tolerance to azo dye than to anthraquinone dye. In general, higher percentages of dye removal were obtained for lower concentrations of dye. For the second experiment, the results also showed that, in addition to "competing" for the electrons, the sulfate and/or sulfide ions can alter the azo dye reduction mechanisms. Sulfide ions, added or biogenic, can reduce azo bonds chemically or biochemically, but they alter kinetics and decrease the efficiency of color removal. In the presence of these ions, there is a change in the nature of degradation byproducts, indicating a possible formation of partially degraded byproducts.porUniversidade Federal de PernambucoPrograma de Pos Graduacao em Engenharia CivilUFPEBrasilAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessEngenharia CivilCorante azoCorante antraquinônicoEnsaio de toxicidade anaeróbiaSulfatoSulfeto e Reator em batelada sequencialTratamento anaeróbio de efluente têxtil: toxicidade a organismos metanogênicos e interferência dos íons sulfato e sulfeto no processo de descoloraçãoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisdoutoradoreponame:Repositório Institucional da UFPEinstname:Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE)instacron:UFPETHUMBNAILTESE Carlos Pereira da Silva.pdf.jpgTESE Carlos Pereira da Silva.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg1232https://repositorio.ufpe.br/bitstream/123456789/28038/5/TESE%20Carlos%20Pereira%20da%20Silva.pdf.jpg5c909be2778f435fb528205f909abd42MD55ORIGINALTESE Carlos Pereira da Silva.pdfTESE Carlos Pereira da Silva.pdfapplication/pdf4754836https://repositorio.ufpe.br/bitstream/123456789/28038/1/TESE%20Carlos%20Pereira%20da%20Silva.pdf19eafd10bff28ea5c11850b92ed1d8edMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
