This text shows a contribution to the geography of religion studies, through the interpretation of the geosymbols introduced by the spatial symbolic forms of Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus – Central temple of Fortaleza. We aim to understand how this space sacralize itself by means of the faithful percepption who attends the space. We start of teorical conceptions that are linked to the understanding of the sacred space and the perception. Methodologically, beyond the Reading about the theme, we use semi-structure interviews by fild resesearch to gather information.  We consideres that this church is a geosymbol to the Faithful, that through the meanings that they assign to the temple they find in the espace na irradiating source of sacred, been this space legitimized by de leaders that promote the speach of power and conquest that materialize itselfs by the monumentality of temple.Keywords: Sacred space; Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus; Perception.
