Defesa : Curitiba, 24/05/2018Inclui referências: p.234-241Resumo: O freudo-marxismo de Wilhelm Reich se desenvolveu desde meados de 1920, como uma crítica das condições históricas e sociais da neurose. Ao ver sua proposta recusada por Freud e por outros psicanalistas, a crítica reichiana das origens sociais da repressão sexual se radicalizou na denúncia de uma metafísica no pensamento freudiano que, segundo Reich, teria se desenvolvido em acordo com padrões culturais autoritários e com uma postura política conservadora. A presente pesquisa delimita este período do pensamento de Reich, que vai desde as suas bases teóricas e clínicas iniciais - a teoria do orgasmo e a análise da estrutura do caráter - até o desenvolvimento de uma orientação sociológica explicitamente marxista. Este estudo tornará evidentes algumas operações características daquilo que Michel Foucault delimitou, em sua arqueologia de As palavras e as coisas, como uma estrutura antropológica do pensamento ocidental, surgida a partir do século XIX. A relação que se verá explicitada entre as estruturas da crítica freudo-marxista reichiana e da antropologia moderna consiste, sobretudo, num tipo de vínculo determinado entre as figuras da natureza e da história que, conforme a arqueologia de Foucault, configura um pensamento especulativo sobre a totalidade humana. No cenário filosófico sessentista, Foucault formulou o seu diagnóstico do pensamento ocidental moderno para caracterizar o esgotamento desta antropologia enquanto projeto ético-político. Analisando detalhadamente essas operações do pensamento antropológico, tem-se como principal hipótese deste trabalho, portanto, apontar como elas formariam a base da estrutura da problematização sociológica de Reich, em geral, e de suas críticas a Freud, em particular. Consequentemente, não se pode deixar de observar que a demonstração desta tese inverte a acusação reichiana acerca de uma metafísica em Freud, contra o próprio Reich. Esse expediente permite reabrir o polêmico debate travado pelos dois psicanalistas, questionando interpretações correntes sobre quais seriam as suas divergências a respeito da relação entre sexualidade e cultura. Ainda em complemento à demonstração desta tese, algumas importantes inovações teóricas de Freud - como a hipótese do instinto de morte ou a sua nova teoria da angústia instintiva, que integram a viragem dos anos 1920 em psicanálise -, habitualmente associadas a uma posição política conservadora, ganhariam sentido como movimentos críticos de ruptura com a estrutura antropológico-humanista do pensamento moderno e suas implicações éticas e políticas. Palavras-chave: Freudo-marxismo; Reich; Freud; Antropologia; Metafísica.Abstract: Wilhelm Reich's Freudo-Marxism has developed throughout the 1920's in the form of a critic of the neurosis' social and historical conditions. In the face of Freud and other psychoanalysts' refusal of his arguments, Reichian critic of sexual repression's social origins has radicalized to the level of an accusation of metaphysics in Freudian thought. This metaphysics, says Reich, has developed in accordance to authoritarian cultural standards and to a conservative political position. This research delimits this period of Reichian thought, beginning with his initial theoretical and clinical basis - the orgasm theory and the character structure analysis - until the development of an explicit Marxist sociological orientation. This study will make evident some operations characteristic of what Michel Foucault has pointed out, in his archaeology of The order of things, as the modern thought anthropological structure, born at the beginning of the 19th century. The relation between the Reichian Freudo-Marxist critic and the modern anthropology structures is based, specifically, on the bound between the figures of nature and of history, since this bound constitutes - according to Foucault - a speculative thought over human totality. In the 1960's philosophical scenario, Foucault proposed his diagnosis of modern thought to characterize the exhaustion of this anthropology as an ethical and political project. Analyzing these anthropological operations in detail, it is therefore proposed, as the main hypothesis of this research, that they form the basis for Reichian sociological criticism, in general, and of his critics to Freud, in particular. Consequently, the demonstration of this thesis inverts the Reichian accusation of metaphysics in Freudian thought, against Reich himself. At this point, it will be revisited the polemical controversy between the two psychoanalysts, a controversy on the sexuality-culture relation, by the questioning of current interpretations of their arguments. In addition to the demonstration of this thesis, some polemical Freudian theoretical innovations - as the death drive hypothesis or the new anxiety theory, both part of the 1920's theoretical turn in psychoanalysis -, cease to be exclusively associated to a conservative political position, to gain meaning as critical ruptures with the anthropological and humanist modern thought structure and its ethical and political implications.
