Resumo: The article reviews some aspects of the communication process, its basic concepts, how it is approached in the theories of the nurses, and proposes to make reflections on the communication in the context of the patient undergoing the stress-echo study. Our goal is to emphasize and to rescue some important aspects related to the communication in health allies area, which is practiced in a constant manner in the daily practices of the nurse. Finally, this paper wishes to emphasize the importance of the knowledge of this process, incorporating it to the practice.

Finally, this paper wishes to emphasize the importance of the knowledge of this process, incorporating it to the practice.El artículo inicialmente hace una revisión de algunos aspectos del proceso de comunicación en general, de sus conceptos básicos, y de como este es utilizado en las teorias de Enfermería y hace algunas reflexiones en relación a la comunicación como parte de los cuidados del paciente sometido al ecocardiograma de estrés (eco-stress). Nuestro objetivo es valorizar y rescatar aspectos importantes relacionados con la comunicación en el área de la Salud, cuya utilización es constante no diario trajin de los profesionales de Enfermería. Finalmente, intentamos demostrar a importancia de conocer este proceso, incorporándolo a nuestra práctica diária.O artigo inicialmente revisa alguns aspectos do processo de comunicação, seus conceitos básicos, como este é abordado nas teorias de enfermagem e faz algumas reflexões acerca da comunicação no cuidado do paciente submetido ao exame de eco-stress. O nosso objetivo é valorizar e resgatar aspectos importantes relacionados à comunicação na área da saúde, cuja utilização é constante no cotidiano da enfermeira.
