Resumo: This review aims to present the book Antropologia e Performance – Agir, Atuar, Exibir, organised by Paula Godinho, and yet, to point out the possibilities of developing a dialogue amongst history, anthropology, and other fields of social sciences. This volume, divided in three parts, gathers texts of researchers that, despite being from different areas, focus their studies upon the performance, seen as a cultural practice in different situations, contexts and spaces. Therefore, the concept of “performance” – based upon the theoretical discussions in this book – is going to be analyzed in order to provide even more opportunities for historians in this field of study.

A obra está organizada em três partes que reúnem textos de pesquisadores de diferentes áreas, porém, centrando seus estudos sobre a performance enquanto prática cultural, em diferentes situações, contextos e espaços.
