Resumo: | The article presents a content analysis of the argumentative resources presented in the comments on YouTube videos about the budget cuts of educational institutions made by the Brazilian government in 2019. We collected 6,609 comments in six videos that dealt with the contingency of the discretionary budget of federal universities - a measure announced in May 2019 by the Ministry of Education. Three videos present themselves in favor of the cuts (from the channels MamãeFalei, Nando Moura and Diego Rox), while the other three are against them (the channels Meteoro Brasil, Henry Bugalho and O Historiador). The results evince a low interactivity among the commentators as well as with the video content itself, and a lack in taking a position on the topic. They also reinforce previous studies, showing greater popularity and better performance by conservative channels and revealing a low disagreement in the relationship between the commentator and the video producer. |

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul2022-08-18info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionPesquisa empíricaapplication/pdfhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/11175110.19132/1807-8583202253.111751Intexto; No. 53 (2022); 111751Intexto; Núm. 53 (2022); 111751Intexto; No. 53 (2022); 111751Intexto; N. 53 (2022); 111751Intexto; n. 53 (2022); 1117511807-8583reponame:Intexto (Porto Alegre)instname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)instacron:UFRGSporhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/111751/85896Copyright (c) 2022 Nilton Cesar Monastier Kleina, Pedro Brodbeck, Murilo Brum Alison, Tiago Tiago Philippini Ferreira Borges da Silva, Djiovanni Jonas França Marioto, Rafael Cardoso Sampaio, Kelly Cristina de Souza Prudenciohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessKleina, Nilton Cesar MonastierBrodbeck, PedroAlison, Murilo BrumSilva, Tiago Philippini Ferreira Borges daMarioto, Djiovanni Jonas FrançaSampaio, Rafael CardosoPrudencio, Kelly Cristina de Souza2023-07-17T18:27:40Zoai:seer.ufrgs.br:article/111751Revistahttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intextoONGhttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intexto/oai||intexto@ufrgs.br1807-85831807-8583opendoar:2023-07-17T18:27:40Intexto (Porto Alegre) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)false |
