Resumo: | The topic under discussion here can be defined as a reflection between theory and praxis on the manner of carrying out international journalism by Brazilian correspondents associated with important media organizations. This paper seeks to crosscheck the plurality of the world of news with a singular reading of current affairs from journalists who are based abroad for professional reasons, such as correspondents or special envoys, working under professional conditions legitimized by corporations for which they provide exclusive news services. The importance of correspondents is highlighted according to the concept of singularity, regarded by Adelmo Genro Filho (1987) as the essence of journalism. In order to substantiate this idea, correspondents were interviewed and parts of their work published in books and newspapers, were cited. |

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul2013-07-15info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/41160Intexto; No. 28 (2013); 38-59Intexto; Núm. 28 (2013); 38-59Intexto; No. 28 (2013); 38-59Intexto; N. 28 (2013); 38-59Intexto; n. 28 (2013); 38-591807-8583reponame:Intexto (Porto Alegre)instname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)instacron:UFRGSporhttps://seer.ufrgs.br/index.php/intexto/article/view/41160/26092Copyright (c) 2013 Zélia Leal Adghirnihttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAdghirni, Zélia Leal2023-11-24T16:56:27Zoai:seer.ufrgs.br:article/41160Revistahttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intextoONGhttp://seer.ufrgs.br/intexto/oai||intexto@ufrgs.br1807-85831807-8583opendoar:2023-11-24T16:56:27Intexto (Porto Alegre) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)false |
