Perspectives on information and knowledge management in the context of libraries

It presents the analysis of information and knowledge management in the context of libraries. We sought to identify which approaches and authors are recurrent, as well as to identify which methodologies are most used. The research is exploratory, bibliometric and quantitative-qualitative. As for the procedure, data collection was carried out in the proceedings of the National Meeting of Research and Graduate Studies in Information Science (ENANCIB) from 2005 to 2019, specifically the works published in GT4 that deals with Information Management and Knowledge Management. The results show that most of the themes in the analyzed works that involve Information and Knowledge Management in the scope of libraries are related to specific library services, such as reference service, and diagnostics plan, being, therefore, mostly studies of case, as well as the theoretical framework that supports such research, are from areas that involve administration and information science.
