Resumo: This article presents some reflections about the teaching of dance in the infantile phase, discussed as contributions to the school 's teaching to the children's perception of the body and its expressive possibilities, from a ludic dimension of dance experience. His approach is qualitative, descriptive and inserted in the methodology of bibliographical research, where the articles are discussed with authors who discuss this theme and draw lessons learned from their experience with dance teaching for children and supervised internships during a graduation. We focus our reflection on the assumptions of the contributions of Isabel Marques, Jean Piaget, Rudolf Laban and other scholars in the field, who propose dance in school as an important contribution to learning the development of the body in childhood.

Sua abordagem é de natureza qualitativa, descritiva e inserida na metodologia de pesquisa bibliográfica, onde estabelecemos diálogos com autores que discutem essa temática e trazemos aprendizados decorrentes da nossa experiência com o ensino da dança para crianças nos estágios supervisionados durante a graduação.
