This work is to be a prerequisite for the completion of the course of Bachelor of Business, UFRN – Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. The study has the objective premise of analyzing the level of job satisfaction of employees of the Supermarket “Rede Mais Venâncio.”. The research was conducted by “EST”- Satisfaction Scale Work by Siqueira (2008), which aimed to assess the degree of employee satisfaction across the five dimensions of their work, which are: satisfaction with salary, satisfaction with coworkers, satisfaction with management, satisfaction with promotions and satisfaction with the nature of work. During the work we were discussed some important authors in the development of critical thinking about the primary topic of research, which includes; business, retail, management, personnel management, job satisfaction and motivation. The methodology used was the EST which has been described previously. Its application in the company aimed to solve the research problem presented initially, collecting data and thus formulating the diagnosis about the analyzed research problem. The results and conclusions showed that employee satisfaction remains and generally they perform the work in which they are inserted. But they were highlighted some indifference points or dissatisfaction, which showed some new proposals for integration necessity, development and definition of the work to achieve a higher level of job satisfaction and respectively the performance of front organization to internal and external economic market
