Potentially subversive, the transsexual experience is constantly clashing in the current discussion on gender issues. This research aims to investigate in which way the Facebook page Travesti Reflexiva, large page of prominence on transsexuality that was in activity in Brazil between 2012 and 2016, with about 198,356 followers (access on 05/09/2018), represented the transsexuality. Through the theoretical framework of Cultural Studies, the contributions of Judith Butler (2003) and the works on cyberculture and social movements of Manuel Castells (1999), Pierry Levy (1999), Gohn (1997) and other researchers, we try to understand which implicit and explicit meanings referred to the trans identity can be perceived through their online publications and if, in some instance, this page allows for discussions and activism related to gender issues also offline. We adopted for the methodological development the joint procedures present in the fields of Content Analysis, Discourse Analysis and the use of interviews to understand the performance of Travesti Reflexiva also as an ideological discourse, with representative possibilities for transsexual experience and the claims of these individuals.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
