O atual cenário do consumo de alimentos orgânicos

Resumo: This article aimed to survey and analyze the consumer of organic products, relating them to those who do not consume organic products, through a descriptive research involving a specific group of people located in the Faculdade Metropolitana de Marabá. In addition to the questionnaire used as an important tool to obtain results, the article also relied on research involving other sources to understand this whole scenario of organic food consumption. In the end, the descriptive research related to explanatory, allowed to obtain unsatisfactory results, because the majority of the people interviewed said to have an eventual consumption of organic products and that their reasons for the consumption was focused on the health, being little mentioned how much organic agriculture favors the environment, because environmental education has also appeared as a failure in this field, so that people understand how positive it is to opt for the consumption of organic products, taking into account factors that go beyond health. The price of such products, in this case, was not a major reason for consumers to opt for their daily consumption of organic foods.

The price of such products, in this case, was not a major reason for consumers to opt for their daily consumption of organic foods.Este artigo teve por objetivo fazer um levantamento e análise do consumidor de produtos orgânicos, relacionando-os aos que não consomem produtos orgânicos, através de uma pesquisa descritiva envolvendo um grupo específico de pessoas localizado na Faculdade Metropolitana de Marabá. Além do questionário usado como ferramenta importante para obtenção de resultados, o artigo também contou com pesquisas envolvendo outras fontes, para assim entender todo esse cenário do consumo de alimentos orgânicos. Ao final, a pesquisa descritiva relacionada a explicativa, permitiu obter resultados pouco satisfatórios, porque a maioria das pessoas entrevistadas disseram ter um consumo eventual de produtos orgânicos e que seus motivos para o consumo era focado na saúde, sendo pouco citado o quanto a agricultura orgânica favorece ao meio ambiente, pois a educação ambiental também apareceu como falha nesse campo, para que as pessoas entendam o quão positivo é optar pelo consumo de produtos orgânicos, levando em conta fatores que vão além da saúde.
