People with mental disorders have for several centuries been "treated" in a coercive, punitive way and excluded from society. Instead of medical and psychological treatment, essential for resocialization, they were thrown into large asylums and asylums. After the Psychiatric Reform, this reality began to be challenged and modified. Currently there is a network of care with various services that replace the asylum that aim to care for the person with a mental disorder of free form, respecting their subjectivity and seeking their insertion in the collective spaces of society. Given the breadth of issues involving the person with mental disorder, the work in the current mental health services should have a multidisciplinary team that act in an interdisciplinary way to enable the integrality of the subjects served. In this sense, understanding the relationship between interdisciplinarity and integrality in CAPS David Capistrano Filho's work was the objective of the present study. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to identify the work processes developed by the CAPS professionals, to identify if there is a dialogue between networks and to identify if there are strategies of the professionals that enable the interdisciplinary dialogue. The guiding method of research was Marx's dialectical method, since it was intended to overcome the phenomenal appearance that appeared as a reality in the CAPS David Capistrano Filho, to understand the historical determinations that justify the way mental health attention is configured and to understand the Aspects of capitalist society that influence mental health policy. The research is qualitative because it started from the understanding and subjectivity of the professionals interviewed and the analysis of the data we used was the content analysis trying to extract the greater meaning of the data found correlating them with the categories of the research. After the research, we can identify the work processes that are developed in the CAPS David Capistrano Filho, the strategies of the professionals and their understanding about the subject and understand that the integrality involves a range of questions and that only the interdisciplinary dialogue does not do with That it is possible to make it viable.
