Resumo: | This work has as its object of study the education and disciplinary society. We chose this theme for the focus of our work in the discipline of Fundamentals of Education I of the Graduate Program in Education (PPGED) of the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). In this discipline, several themes about the educational context are addressed, including disciplinary society, which was chosen as the focus of this study. To carry out this research, an analysis of the disciplinary power at school was carried out, specifically in the context of school groups in Sergipe, and in the disciplinary society during the period of pandemic with the Coronavirus (Covid-19). For this, we carried out a bibliographical study to understand the theme. The main work we used was Vigiar e Punir (FOUCAULT, 1987). We came to the conclusion that disciplinary power is exercised in schools and in other institutional spaces through control devices with the art of distribution and activity control. In the context of society in a pandemic period, this also becomes evident. The regulation of life and control of the body with the lockdown, the fear of the contagion of the virus, make us reflect that the disciplinary society still exists. |

Escolhemos esse tema para o foco do nosso trabalho na disciplina de Fundamentos da Educação I do Programa de PósGraduação em Educação (PPGED) da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS). Nessa disciplina, são abordados diversos temas sobre o contexto educacional, inclusive sobre a sociedade disciplinar, que foi escolhido como foco deste estudo. Para realização dessa pesquisa foi feita uma análise do poder disciplinar na escola, especificamente no contexto dos grupos escolares em Sergipe, e na sociedade disciplinar no período de pandemia com o Coronavírus (Covid-19). Para isso, realizamos um estudo bibliográfico para compreender a temática. A principal obra que utilizamos foi Vigiar e Punir (FOUCAULT, 1987). Chegamos à conclusão de que o poder disciplinar se exerce na escola e em outros espaços institucionais por meio de dispositivos de controle com a arte das distribuições e o controle da atividade. No contexto da sociedade em um período de pandemia, isso também se torna evidente.
