Os mestres da cultura popular no espaço educacional: aproximações e distanciamentos

Resumo: | In this research, it was analyzed how the knowledge of the masters of popular culture, in the city of Laranjeiras/SE, approaches and distances itself from the educational space. It is concluded that this knowledge is closer to the educational space through the work done by schools on the commemorative dates and distances itself as the municipal education department limits itself to only recommending the pedagogical work of this knowledge without placing it as a priority, as a education policy of the municipality, and without putting them in the curriculum as actual content to be developed during the school year. The subjects of this research were seven masters of popular culture from that municipality, recognized and enjoying the benefits of Law 909/2009; the two hundred and ten elementary school students from the municipal school “Mayor José Monteiro Sobral” in the Mussuca village in Laranjeiras/SE; sixteen teachers and three professionals from the management and pedagogical team of the same municipal school; and two technicians from the Municipal Education Department of the municipality of Laranjeiras/SE. The exploratory research method was used, making use of an interview, a questionnaire and observation with those involved in the problem. |

Conclui-se que esses saberes se aproximam do espaço educacional através do trabalho feito pelas escolas acerca das datas comemorativas e se distanciam à medida que a secretaria municipal de educação se limita a apenas recomendar o trabalho pedagógico desses saberes sem colocar como uma prioridade, como uma política de educação do município, e sem colocá-los no currículo como conteúdo de fato a ser desenvolvido durante o ano letivo. Os sujeitos dessa pesquisa foram sete mestres da cultura popular do referido município, reconhecidos e gozando das benesses da Lei 909/2009; os duzentos e dez alunos do ensino fundamental da escola municipal “Prefeito José Monteiro Sobral” do povoado Mussuca em Laranjeiras/SE; dezesseis professoras e professores e três profissionais da equipe diretiva e pedagógica da mesma escola municipal; e dois técnicos da Secretaria Municipal de Educação do município de Laranjeiras/SE.
