Resumo: With the rising issue of the scarcity of water, a need for alternative methods grows. The reuse of rainwater shows to be an efficient way to amortize the damage caused by this challenge. Thus, this article aims to study and analyze the scientific production on the reuse of rainwater. To this end, a systematic review was carried out on the “CAPES Journal Portal”. 115 results were identified, and then, 30 were selected. Subsequently, the studies were separated into groups based on research strategy. Through this, the advantages of adopting these reuse systems are clear, as well as their proposed treatments and as a measure of their execution and profitability. It is concluded, then, that the reuse of rainwater is a way to reduce scarcity, but it still faces some challenges in its execution, especially in its public acceptance.

O aproveitamento de águas pluviais se mostra uma eficiente maneira de amortizar os danos causados por esse desafio. Assim, este trabalho tem como objetivo pesquisar e analisar a produção científica acerca do aproveitamento de águas pluviais por meio da revisão sistemática realizada no Portal de Periódicos da CAPES. Foram identificados 115 resultados e, em seguida, foram selecionados 30. Posteriormente, os estudos foram separados de acordo com seus grupos de estratégia de pesquisa e analisados. Por meio disso, ficaram claras as vantagens da adoção desses sistemas de aproveitamento, bem como seus tratamentos propostos e as previsões acerca de sua execução e rentabilidade.
