This Course Completion Work has as its theme the promotion of healthy aging in the municipality of Graccho Cardoso/SE within the pandemic context. The work aims to identify the challenges and seek alternatives that can contribute to minimizing the problem, that is, the consequences of the coronavirus and social isolation as a measure of protection and prevention of the disease. As a methodology, a documental research was carried out simultaneously on the plateau website and CFESS, as well as a bibliographic research on books by popular authors in the social sciences, such as Netto, Iamamoto, and Marx, as well as on search engines such as scielo and academic google. in order to understand: a) on aging in the country and in the municipality and the importance of social work as a profession in public policies of assistance and health; b) the pandemic context and its implications, as health professionals, managers and population circumvented the difficulties of this period; c) ways of promoting aging provided by the municipality with the aim and objective of guaranteeing quality of life and well-being of the population as a whole. The final considerations are that recognizing that fighting a global pandemic would not be an easy task and, for that, forces should be allied in order to guarantee the prevention of the disease and protection of the population, through an important ally, the Unified Health System. People were able to seek help and be assisted by the entire team, without distinction, in the same way, the importance of vaccine development and mass vaccination in the entire population, especially the elderly population.
