Análise de prescrições de antibióticos em unidade básica de saúde no município de Lagarto-SE

Introduction: Misuse of antibiotics is one of the world's health concerns due to the bacterial resistance phenomenon and the high costs involved, especially in countries with poor sanitary conditions. In order to contribute to the promotion and rational use of antibiotics, ANVISA through RDC no. 20/2011 established criteria that should be followed for dispensing prescriptions containing drugs of this therapeutic class. Objective: To analyze the prescriptions of antibiotics dispensed at UBS in the municipality of Lagarto - SE. Material and Methods: This is a cross-sectional descriptive study. The data were collected by the author, through access to the second routes of prescriptions of antibiotics retained in the UBS, during the period of September and October of 2018. Results: Of the 285 prescriptions evaluated, they did not agree with the legal items: patient's sex (100%); age of the patient (99.6%); dosage or concentration (8%); dosage (1%); Pharmaceutical form (12.3%); amount of the drug (4.6%); route of administration (23.5%); date (13.6%); name of prescriber / institution (1%); graphic marking (stamp) (1%); regional council registration number (1.4%); signature of the prescriber (1.4%); address of the prescriber (15.4%) and prescriber's telephone (15%). the prescriptions were considered legible (60.3%), slightly legible (20.7%) and illegible (18.9%). Conclusion: Some discrepancies were found in the research regarding the legal requirements regarding the prescription of antibiotics, in addition some prescriptions were considered to be poorly readable or illegible and some were incomplete.
