Located at the northern entrance of the city, beginning the urban area of the city of Delmiro Gouveia, State of Alagoas, a town in semi-arid, with coordinates 37 ° 59'57 "north and 9 ° 23'19" south, the Bom Sossego served as an area to be studied with a view to proper environmental planning a neighborhood where, it is necessary to use technical resources that facilitate the process of developing actions consistent the issue in question. The Remote Sensing is one of GIS tools used with satellite imagery and surface data. Using these tools specifically for this work contributes to locate and map the areas that lack basic sanitation. Thus optimizes the mapping stages that represents the adequate urban planning occur much more time or need for advanced analysis techniques. For this research, the areas were mapped that, through field work, were identified as those that have and do not have basic sanitation, a city that every year shows its geographical development, like the 2000s, which did not have sewerage in its entire area, as reported by the IBGE National Survey on Sanitation Basic 2010. Then, the work aims zoning pipes of sewage networks using the topography, assigning the best routes on deployment of satellite images and GIS the marked points with GPS, concluding that the construction of houses in the mapped streets, there was a lack of topographic planning and accordingly the GIS could be added.
