SIMULACROS DE UMA ESPOSA: LEITURA DE “A IMITAÇÃO DA ROSA”, DE CLARICE LISPECTOR: THE SIMULACRA OF A WIFE: ANALYSIS OF CLARICE LISPECTOR’S “A IMITAÇÃO DA ROSA”

RESUMO: O artigo apresenta uma leitura do conto “A imitação da rosa”, de Clarice Lispector, publicado originalmente na coletânea Laços de família (1960). A protagonista Laura, centro de nossa análise, é apresentada como uma personagem dissociativa, que oscila entre dois extremos, a contenção e o caos, incapaz de administrar um equilíbrio ou uma fixidez identitária que lhe permitiriam interagir com sucesso na sociedade patriarcal. Emulando temporariamente a postura de uma esposa, e, posteriormente, tentando imitar dentro de si a beleza das rosas, Laura é colocada numa dinâmica de cópias, reflexos e imitações, as quais analisamos através do conceito de mímesis, da presença do objeto espelho na narrativa e da interpretação dos dois eixos de sustentação da personagem, a rigidez e a desrazão. Imitação.        ABSTRACT: This paper presents a reading of Clarice Lispector's short story “Imitação da rosa”, originally published in the anthology Laços de família (1960). The protagonist Laura, the center of our analysis, is presented as a dissociative character, who oscillates between two extremes, containment and chaos, unable to manage a balance or fixity of her identity that would allow her to interact successfully in the patriarchal society. Temporarily emulating the behavior of a wife, and then trying to imitate the beauty of the roses, Laura is placed in a systems filled with copies, reflections and imitations, which we aim to analyze through the concept of mimesis, the presence of the object mirror in the narrative and the interpretation of the two axes that support the character: rigidity and unreason.
