Resumo: RESUMO: A peça teatral de Jorge Andrade, Vereda da salvação, traz em sua temática dicotomias resultantes da estrutura social brasileira. Procura-se aqui apontar a maneira como o autor reproduz literariamente os descompassos daquele universo convulso, levando em consideração o conjunto de sua dramaturgia. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Teatro Brasileiro. Jorge Andrade. Vereda da salvação.        ABSTRACT: The play by Jorge Andrade, Vereda da Salvação, brings in its thematic dichotomies resulting from the Brazilian social structure. It is sought here to point out the way the author reproduces literally the mismatches of that convulsive universe, taking into consideration the whole of his dramaturgy. KEYWORDS: Brazilian theatre.
