EXPERIÊNCIA, EXPERIMENTAÇÃO E EXPERIMENTALISMO NA POESIA MODERNA: EXERIENCE, EXPERIMENTATION AND EXPERIMENTALISM IN MODERN POETRY

RESUMO: A partir de uma noção ampla de poesia experimental, emprestada de poetas como Herberto Helder e Wallace Stevens, este artigo discute as relações entre experiência estética, experimentação e experimentalismo na modernidade. Sustentada pelas leituras de Theodor W. Adorno e Walter Benjamin, a reflexão se faz entre avanços e recuos, de Baudelaire e Rilke, e deles a Mallarmé, para voltar, enfim, ao experimentalismo dos anos 1960 como um movimento tributário da Modernidade do século XIX e como último suspiro das vanguardas no século XX. Vanguarda.        ABSTRACT: From a broad notion of experimental poetry, borrowed from poets such as Herberto Helder and Wallace Stevens, this article discusses the relationship between aesthetic experience, experimentation and experimentalism within the Modernity. Supported by readings of Theodor Adorno and Walter Benjamin, the considerations are made in-between advances and retreats, from Baudelaire to Rilke, and from them to Mallarmé, to return, finally, to the experimentalism of the 1960’s as a tributary movement of the nineteenth-century Modernity and as the last breath of the avant-gardes in the twentieth century.
