RESUMO: Este artigo tem como objetivo realizar a leitura do conto Rodando, de Adélia Prado, presente na obra Filandras da mesma autora, a fim de compreender o papel do leitor no processo interativo da leitura. O jogo entre leitor e leitura estará embasado nas propostas teóricas de Umberto Eco e em suas reflexões acerca das relações que se estabelecem no “contrato” firmado pelos atuantes desse jogo: o autor e o leitor. Percebe-se, ao longo do texto, que a autora modelo cria um leitor modelo de quem espera solidariedade traduzida por meio da capacidade de preencher os espaços vazios que a prosa poética de Adélia Prado faz questão de deixar. Jogo do texto.        ABSTRACT: This article aims to realize the reading of Rodando, Adélia Prado's short story presented in Filandras, work of the same author, in order to understand the role of the reader in the interactive process of reading. The game between reader and reading will be based on the theoretical proposals by Umberto Eco and his reflections on the relations established in the “contract” signed by the players of this game: the author and the reader. Throughout the text, it is noticed that the model author creates a model reader from those who expect solidarity translated by means of the capacity to fill the empty spaces that the poetic prose of Adélia Prado leaves.
