Resumo: RESUMO: O artigo pretende fazer uma abordagem acerca da teoria e da prática docente, com ênfase no ensino de língua. Para tanto, são feitas considerações de âmbito mais genérico, intentando a compreensão acerca da teoria, da metafísica, da dialética e das formas de articulação entre teoria e prática, para daí alcançarmos alguns conceitos relacionados à linguística. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Teoria. Prática. Ensino. Linguística.        ABSTRACT: The article intends to approach about the theory and teaching practice, with an emphasis on language teaching. Therefore, more general framework of considerations are made, attempting to understanding the theory of metaphysics, dialectics and forms of articulation between theory and practice, to then reach some concepts related to linguistics.
