PARA ALÉM DAS FRONTEIRAS ENTRE PALAVRA E IMAGEM NUMA CULTURA DIGITAL: WELL BEYOND THE FRONTIERS BETWEEN WORD AND IMAGE IN A DIGITAL CULTURE

RESUMO: Este artigo se propõe a questionar os riscos atribuídos à linguagem visual no processo de formação, problematizar a relação entre imagem e palavra na perspectiva do ultrapassamento de suas fronteiras e considerar algumas possibilidades na articulação ou mixagem de diferentes linguagens nos meios digitais. Para isso, são apresentados alguns aspectos da histórica relação entre palavra e imagem; as implicações da diluição de fronteiras entre signo verbal e signo visual em poéticas vanguardistas; e os desafios da leitura ou navegação nos meios digitais para a formação cultural. Mídias digitais.        ABSTRACT: This article proposes to question the risks associated to visual language in the formation process, problematize the relationship between image and word in the perspective of exceeding its frontiers and consider some possibilities in the linking or mixing of different languages in the digital media. In order to do that, we present some aspects of the historical relationship between verbal and visual signals in avant-garde poetry and the challenges in reading or surfing the digital means to cultural formation.
