RESUMO: Novalis integrou o grupo que se formou em torno da revista Athenäum, em Jena, no final do século XVIII. Leitor de uma tradição romântica que se estabelecia na Alemanha, o poeta teve projeção significativa na arte e no pensamento dos vários romantismos, principalmente no que diz respeito à abordagem de uma natureza divinizada e de uma linguagem altamente poética, mesmo no texto em prosa. Neste artigo, trataremos do tema da natureza na obra de Novalis, principalmente em Os discípulos em Saïs. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Novalis. Natureza. Poesia. Romantismo.        ABSTRACT: Novalis joined the group that formed around the magazine Athenäum, in Jena, in the late eighteenth century. A reader of a romantic tradition established in Germany, the poet had a significant projection in the art and thought of the various romanticisms, especially as regarding the approach to a divinized nature and a highly poetic language, even in the prose text. In this article, we will deal with the theme of nature in Novalis' work, especially in Os discípulos em Saïs. KEYWORDS: Novalis. Nature. Poetry. Romanticism.
