Resumo: Este trabalho pretende analisar o lirismo em Mutante in sanidade (2001), do poeta sergipano Jorge Henrique, bem como resgatar esta obra mediante a historiografia literária. Para tanto, partiremos das reflexões acerca do lirismo feitas por Benedito Nunes (2012) e Heidegger (2003). Dentre os sentidos da obra, ganham relevo as mudanças do ser humano no mundo no desejo de mudá-lo, a palavra poética e a inanição, os quais reverberam nos poemas “Mutante in sanidade” e “A palavra e a fome”, corpus desta pesquisa.
