RESUMO: O presente trabalho propõe algumas discussões em torno do conceito de comunicabilidade, desenvolvido pelo linguista Charles Briggs, a fim de pensar as possíveis implicações do conceito para a discussão sobre a prática de entrevistas em pesquisas sobre narrativas no campo da Linguística Aplicada. Como ponto de partida, o artigo toma o panorama contemporâneo destes estudos, onde têm sido desenvolvidas diversas abordagens teóricas vinculadas a uma perspectiva interacional. Nota-se que, quando tais pesquisas envolvem a produção de entrevistas como ferramenta de geração de dados, tal abordagem ainda tem encontrado algumas lacunas, dada a intensa circulação de ideologias, teorias e metodologias que limitam a reflexão do pesquisador a respeito do próprio papel na construção das performances narrativas de seus participantes. A fim de oferecer alguns insights que contribuam para preencher tais lacunas e aprimorar estas práticas de pesquisa, o trabalho propõe a articulação de uma visão performativa e interacional das narrativas e das entrevistas com o conceito de comunicabilidade. Abordagem interacional.     ABSTRACT: The present work proposes some discussions about the concept of communicability, developed by the linguist Charles Briggs, to think about the possible implications of the concept for the discussion about the practice of interviews in narrative research, in the field of Applied Linguistics. As a starting point, the paper takes the contemporary panorama of these studies, in which several theoretical approaches have been advocating an interactional perspective. However, it is remarkable that when such researches involve the production of interviews as methodology for data generation, this approach is still finding shortcomings, given the intense circulation of ideologies, theories and methodologies that limit the perceptions of the researchers on their own role in constructing the narrative performances of participants. In order to offer some insights that contribute to fill these gaps and to improve these research practices, the paper aims to link a performative and interactional view of narratives and interviews with the concept of communicability.
