RESUMO: Partindo do pressuposto de que associada à tematização da violência, um dos temas que mais se tem destacado na narrativa brasileira contemporânea é a da representação da realidade que vem das periferias urbanas brasileiras, este artigo tem por objetivo investigar, sob a luz dos conceitos propostos por Patrocínio (2013), Schmidt (1995), Bourdieu (1999), Benjamin (1986), dentre outros estudiosos, a figuração da realidade marginal no romance A número um, de Raquel de Oliveira (2015). Para tanto, discute-se o apagamento da literatura de autoria feminina e o conceito de Literatura Marginal. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Literatura Brasileira Contemporânea. Literatura Marginal. A número um.   ABSTRACT: Based on the assumption that, in association with the thematization of violence, one of the most outstanding themes in contemporary Brazilian narrative is the representation of reality that comes from the Brazilian urban peripheries, this article aims to investigate, in the light of the concepts proposed by Patrocínio (2013), Schmidt (1995), Bourdieu (1999), Benjamin (1986), among other scholars, the figuration of the marginal reality of the novel A número um, by Raquel de Oliveira (2015). For this, we discuss the erasure of the literature of female authorship and the concept of Marginal Literature. KEYWORDS: Contemporary Brazilian Literature. Marginal Literature. A número um.
