RESUMO: Este artigo teve a pretensão de analisar, na obra “O sonho e a sina”, da escritora sergipana Núbia Marques, os discursos sobre a mulher, com o escopo de neles explorar não somente elementos que nos levem a melhor entendimento da condição da mulher na época em que foi escrito o romance, como também os efeitos de sentido desses discursos. Por tratar-se da análise de um discurso literário sob a ótica da AD pêcheuxtiana, utilizamos, minimamente, algumas noções da teoria literária, ao esclarecer questões relativas à obra, e a teoria do discurso procurando unir a Linguística, a História e a Psicanálise na análise do corpus selecionado. Gênero feminino.   ABSTRACT: This article had the intention of analyzing the discourses about women, in the work "The dream and the sina", by the Sergipe’s writer Núbia Marques, with the scope of exploring not only elements that lead us to a better understanding of the woman’s condition at the time the novel was written, as well as the meaningful effects of these discourses. Since it deals with the analysis of a literary discourse from the standpoint of Pêcheux’s discourse analysis, we use minimally some notions of literary theory, clarifying issues related to the work, and discourse theory seeking to unite Linguistics, History and Psychoanalysis in analysis of the selected corpus.
