The Copernican Revolution: considerations about two Enem questions

Resumo: In this paper, two questions referred to the Copernican Revolution and the comments about them are discussed. They were taken from the responsible team reports of the National High School Exam (Enem) tests. It is questioned, on the first of the examined questions, the interpretation given by the Enem team to a picture, attributed to Galileo, which was among the first records of his observations of the Jupiter satellites which were discovered by him one of his important contributions for the Copernicus' proposal to be accepted. Referring to the second question, which is the assimilation of the copernicanism to culture, it s showed unsustainable to admit that Shakespeare is referring to the heliocentrism in one of his plays, as the Enem team assures.

Questiona-se, quanto à primeira das questões examinadas, a interpretação que a equipe do Enem dá a uma figura atribuída a Galileu, e que estaria entre os primeiros registros de suas observações dos satélites de Júpiter, por ele descobertos uma de suas importantes contribuições para a aceitação da proposta de Copérnico.
