Presents the configuration of training and supervised training in Archival Science at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Shows a brief history of the course and the relationship with the pedagogical project stages. Emphasizes the conditions for the realization of the stages, as the fields of performance, workload, supervision, guidance and coordination, based on legislation (Federal Law 11.788, 2008; Resolution No. 14, 2011 and Rules of Training Course, 2012). Search raise thinking on the challenges and prospects of the stage, building on the experience of coordinating Internship Course and related scientific literature on the subject. It concludes that the Archival Science at UFSC should worry about modifications contained in the curriculum and in stages, aiming to follow the changes of the labor market Archivist and improve the relationship between theory and practice.
