Formulation evaluation indicators of process management information: analysis in the Cachaçaria Carvalheira at Pernambuco

Proposes indicators for assessing the information management process from the perspective of those providing information to information workers to monitor their work in organizations of any kind. To this end , there was a exploratory research in order to explore a context that has little systematic knowledge , focusing on the case study of a circumscribed environment - the commercial department of the company Cachaçaria Carvalheira. Indicators were formulated in the dimensions of the system usability, information retrieval and informational impact, confirming that the activities in the process of information management are likely to be measured and, ultimately, their results are likely to be managed. However, this study found that the indicators related to system usability and information retrieval are simpler and more easily identified, while indicators of informational impact require their own research methods of procedural and contextual character. Surely it is simpler and more accurate measure success in access to information than measure it as the level of knowledge acquired through use of information and the results from the use in the activities of people and in organizational effectiveness.
