Analysis of the archival service at the Rio de Janeiro State Court of Justice

Resumo: Considering the need for a greater approximation of archivology with the debate about archival services, this article analyzes the Department of Archival Records Management (DEGEA), to understand its real situation as an archival service of the Court of Justice of the State of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ). To this end, we observe the sector's by-laws, the department's organizational chart, its place in the organization's structure, the norms of its document policy, as well as its material, technological and human resources. In this sense, the initial literature review and the case study carried out through the investigation of the information contained on the institution's website, added to the questionnaire answered by DEGEA, allowed us to conclude that the institutional document policy adopted by TJRJ, is supported by the current laws, which added to the constant willingness of the appropriation of the archival precepts demonstrated by TJRJ and DEGEA, enables the fulfillment of the archival functions and results in a good service by the department to the demands of the institution. However, it is important to verify the possibility of developing a new project to create new archives, to obtain enough units to store all the TJRJ's documents and to hire more qualified labor.

Para ello se observa el regimiento del sector, el organigrama del departamento, su lugar en la estructura de la organización, la estandarización de su política documental, además de los recursos materiales, tecnológicos y humanos. En este sentido, la revisión bibliográfica inicial y el estudio de caso realizado por medio de la investigación de las informaciónes contenidas en el sitio web de la institución, sumadas al cuestionario respondido por DEGEA, permitieron concluir que la política de documento institucional adoptada por el TJRJ se sustenta en la legislación vigente, lo que sumado al constante afán de apropiación de los preceptos archivísticos demostrados por el TJRJ y por el DEGEA, posibilita el cumplimiento de las funciones archivísticas y redunda en el buen servicio del departamento a las demandas de la institución. Sin embargo, es importante verificar la posibilidad de elaborar un nuevo proyecto para crear nuevos archivos, con el fin de obtener unidades suficientes para almacenar todos los documentos del TJRJ y de mayor contratación de mano de obra calificada.Considerando a necessidade de maior aproximação da arquivologia com o debate sobre os serviços arquivísticos, o presente artigo analisa o Departamento de Gestão de Acervos arquivísticos (DEGEA), com finalidade de compreender sua real situação, enquanto serviço arquivístico do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ). Para isso, é observado o regimento do setor, o organograma do departamento, seu lugar na estrutura da organização, a normatização de sua política documental, além dos recursos materiais, tecnológicos e humanos. Nesse sentido, a inicial revisão bibliográfica e o estudo de caso realizado através da investigação das informações contidas no site da instituição, somados ao questionário respondido pelo DEGEA, possibilitaram concluir que a política documental institucional adotada pelo TJRJ, é respaldada nas legislações vigentes, o que somado a constante vontade da apropriação dos preceitos arquivísticos demonstrada pelo TJRJ e pelo DEGEA, viabiliza o cumprimento das funções arquivísticas e resulta em um bom atendimento pelo departamento às demandas da instituição.
