Resumo: While It’s presenting the book "Being self-study researchers in a digital world: future oriented research and pedagogy in teacher education", this review seeks to reflect the contributions of the volume to the studies that articulate teacher education in Physical education with media and technology. The work brings important reports and reflections about the concept of self-study and its relation with the teacher education in Physical Education related to the media and technology in Brazil, and little explored by the national academic field, which offers other perspectives of studies for practices of the emergence of technologies in the teaching-learning environment.

La obra presenta relatos y reflexiones importantes sobre el concepto de autoestudio y sus relaciones con la formación de profesores en Educación Física relacionada con los medios y la tecnología en Brasil, y poco exploradas por el campo académico nacional, lo que ofrece otras perspectivas de estudios para prácticas de práctica formación de profesores a partir de la emergencia de las tecnologías en el ambiente de enseñanza-aprendizaje.Ao apresentar o livro “Being self-study researchers in a digital world: future oriented research and pedagogy in teacher education”, esta resenha reflete sobre as contribuições da obra para os estudos que articulam a Formação de Professores em Educação Física com a mídia e a tecnologia.
