Pathways of an anti-racist action in childhood education: the experience of the institutional program of schorlarships for initiation to teaching

Resumo: The research articulates the experience lived in the Institutional Program of Scholarships for Initiation to Teaching, at Realengo Educational Reference Center in Childhood Education, with studies that reinforce the essentiality of an anti-racist education, since childhood. The methodological approach used was research-education and conversation, in order to share possible paths for the construction of pedagogical practices that value diversity. It is understood that Brazil is marked by a history of colonization and violence against black populations. Education, which is not separated from society, has an essential role in the deconstruction of stereotypes and prejudices. In this way, we believe that educational and training processes that dialogue with the anti-racist struggle make it possible to strengthen a more just society.

A abordagem metodológica utilizada foi a pesquisa-formação e a conversa, a fim de compartilhar caminhos possíveis para a construção de práticas pedagógicas que valorizem a diversidade. Compreende-se que o Brasil é marcado por uma história de colonização e violência contra as populações negras. A educação, que não é apartada da sociedade, possui um papel essencial na desconstrução de estereótipos e preconceitos.
