Crossover on The Marvel Universe: a case study about luke cage tv series

Resumo: | The Marvel Cinemactic Universe is given through the connection of the narratives available in different media platforms. So, differentiated and innovative products are offered to the consumer. In this context, we try to answer the following question: how many crossover elements appear in the first episode of the first season of the Luke Cage TV series? The bibliographical research and the application of the case study, proposed by Robert K. Yin (2010), were established as methodology. It was verified the occurrence of eight crossover elements, these articulate different plots. The study highlights the on demand experience as part of the expansion of the Marvel fictional universe. |

Nesse cenário, busca-se responder a seguinte pergunta: quantos elementos crossover aparecem no primeiro episódio da primeira temporada da série Luke Cage? Estabeleceu-se como metodologia a pesquisa bibliográfica e a aplicação do estudo do caso proposto por Robert K. Yin (2010). Constatou-se a ocorrência de oito elementos crossover, estes articulam tramas distintas.
