From the social context to the architectural space: an internship experience in visual arts

The present paper converges to the point of the interrelationship of the artistic elements, spatial structures, tridimensional (shape, line, perspective, space) of the architectural space with the contemporary social context. Therefore, concepts and knowledge about the architectonic artistic space were intended to be constructed with the participation of students through the practice on training by the visualization of the works and its surrounding spaces as a possibility of making. Based on that, it was intended to instigate students’ perception as means of making them perceive that their habitual values are of the most importance for the comprehension of how the buildings are introduced in the society and History of Art. It will provide to high school students a new glance upon the architectural buildings, consequently, making them considerate their routine, their spaces and actions as valuable aspects in their lives. As a result, their conception of space in an artistic/architectonic construction is developed from students’ structuring.
