Resumo: | The seminar is characterized mainly by the activity of exposing and its thematic progression can be effected by the use of different strategies. In this sense, the present work aims to analyze the strategies of thematic progression of seminars presented by students of a 9th grade class from a public school in Teresina-PI. Methodologically, regarding the purposes, an exploratory and descriptive research was developed. Following the presentation of the seminars, it was found that some groups were able to operationalise more strategies than others and, therefore, they caught the audience’s attention to what was being exposed for more time. |

Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho objetiva analisar as estratégias de progressão temática de seminários apresentados por alunos de uma turma de 9º ano de uma escola pública de Teresina-PI. Gonçalves (2009), Gomes-Santos (2012) e Dolz (2004) são alguns teóricos usados para fundamentar este trabalho. Metodologicamente, quanto aos objetivos, desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva.
