Writing and performance in woman’s contemporary poetry

Resumo: Poetry of female authorship made since the second half of the 20th century in Brazil stands out for its performatic character, as it proposes the enactment of the feminine and its intimate universe, as well as the dramatization of the problems related to gender politics. Taking in consideration studies about writing and performance, especially those by Roland Barthes and Graciela Ravetti, the analysis of poetry of contemporary female authors is proposed, with the goal to examine its performativity and the repercussion of this characteristic on current debates about gender.
