Resumo: This article deals with the procedure employed by the author in evaluating a case of it contaminationof water resources in Cravinhos (SP), under judicial discussion by the parties. The method usedconsisted of a literature review and analysis of documentation of legal proceedings. The aim ofthis work is to support those interested in understanding the environmental impacts that can betransformed into legal disputes. The results of the case study can be derived that the sources ofpollution have shared responsibility for environmental impacts and solutions.

O método empregado constituiu-se de levantamento bibliográfico e da análise da documentação do processo judicial. O objetivo do trabalho é subsidiar os interessados no entendimento dos impactos ambientais que podem ser transformados em disputas judiciais.
